Mission

Rooted in Christ the Redeemer, we proclaim the Gospel and promote human dignity, focusing on the most abandoned, those who do not know Christ, and those who live distant from Him; so that all may experience the merciful love of God and the tenderness of Mary, Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Vision

As Missionaries of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, we respond to the demands of the signs of the times, through apostolic charity, being a true community that discerns God's will, guiding people toward abundant Redemption.

A Message

Rev. Mo. Melissa Garza Escobedo, MPS
Superiora General

It is a joy to reach out to you and share the theme that will guide us throughout the Sexennium 2023-2029:

Community of Hope, Configured by the Experience of God, Lived in Communion, and Projected in Mission.

We are all called to be witnesses of hope, a hope that is deeply needed in today’s world—the world we live in, in our families, our religious communities, our parishes, and wherever we gather and feel at home.

As a community of hope, we walk forward in faith, reimagining the gifts God has entrusted to us. Over time, the essence of what He desires for us can be clouded by ideologies, discouragement, and individualism, which diminish our joy, creativity, and fidelity. Yet, God calls us to renewal—to rekindle our passion for Him and His mission.

To be configured and molded by the experience of God is to allow Him to transform us from within. When we embrace communion, unity, and the spirit of synodality, we open ourselves to share this experience with others, becoming missionary disciples who bring His love to the world. As our relationship with God deepens, so too does our passion to serve, to give, and to witness.

Let us embark on this journey together, hand in hand with Our Mother of Perpetual Help, trusting that she will accompany us as we live out this call with faith, joy, and commitment.
