Mary is the great missionary, the Star of Evangelization and Mother of the peoples (DP 168); in her maternal and merciful face we find the closeness of God. She is the continuator of the mission of her Son and the trainer of missionaries.

She encourages and sustains our apostolate so that all humanity may find its unity in Him and be led to its end, the new earth and the new heaven (Rev 21:23, 1; Eph 1:10; RMi 92; 1 Cor 3:23). “They will go to her before they begin.
